Andy Hollenbeck

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Andy Hollenbeck serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Soros Fund Management LLC, responsible for managing all legal, regulatory, and compliance aspects of the firm, including oversight of all portfolio transactions and family office matters. In his role, Andy also oversees a team of legal and compliance professionals.

Prior to joining Soros Fund Management in 2021, Andy served as the General Counsel of UBS Asset Management Americas in Chicago. In that role, he led a team that oversaw all legal aspects of UBS’s various asset management businesses in the Americas, including traditional, alternative, and real estate asset classes. Over his 12 years at UBS, Andy also served as General Counsel for UBS’s single manager hedge fund business (UBS O’Connor) and for the multi-manager UBS Hedge Fund Solutions (UBS HFS) business.

Andy began his career in private practice, working at the law firm of Mayer Brown in Chicago and, earlier, at Ice Miller in Indianapolis.

Andy graduated with honors from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business and earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
