Chief Technology Officer

Alex Potter serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Soros Fund Management LLC, responsible for managing the firm’s technology functions, including technology strategy and execution, platform development and innovation, cloud strategy and infrastructure, network and systems management, end-user support, cybersecurity, and compliance.

Prior to joining Soros Fund Management, Alex was Partner and Head of Engineering at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York. With over 23 years at the firm, he held multiple leadership roles across Engineering and Strats. He holds a B.S. in Applied Physics from Yale University.
